AMA+ (Art Major Asian plus) Scholarship Program

Korea National University of Arts (“K-Arts”) supports young talents in diverse field of arts from developing countries as AMA+ (Art Major Asia plus) national scholarship grantees providing access to higher education in arts and academic degrees. K-Arts sponsors AMA+ grantees to be the cultural leaders to develop and create their own culture and arts and facilitate the exchange and cooperation, furthermore mutual growth between nations.
* Supported 358 people from 38 OECD DAC recipient countries from 2005 to 2024, Average 20~30 grantees selected

Qualifications | Those who qualified to apply for undergraduate∙graduate degree ※ Please refer the Korean proficiency requirement when applying for each major | ||||||
Training Period | 1) When Korean proficiency requirement fulfilled: 2~5 years from Sept 2024 2) When Korean is not ready (Recommendation Quota): 3~6 years from March 2025 (admission will be approved when qualified after 1year language training)
※ undergraduate 4~5 years, graduate 2~3 years depending on major | ||||||
Benefits | Round-trip air ticket (economy class), Full tuition, Living expenses (800,000KRW(approx.. 600USD)), National health insurance, Korean language training, cultural experience, Settlement/Return Allowance, etc. | ||||||
Application Process | [AMA+ Regular] Document Screening → Korean Language Test → Portfolio Screening & Interview(when necessary)
